JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting the City Construction Management Division (CMD) with construction monitoring and inspection

• Meeting with contractors, city officials and others to resolve problems in the field Investigating complaints from the general public concerning construction projects

• Preparing of daily inspection logs and reports

• Maintaining of project records and documentation

• Reviewing and processing of contractor's application for payment

• Attending project meetings

• Training city and new consultant inspection staff

• Inspect I&C systems for defects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of I&C inspection experience OR

• Demonstrated equivalency of education/experience to have performed the responsibilities above

• Wastewater and construction industry experience strongly preferred

• Project management experience

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
