ThisAdministrative Assistant 2position in our Building, Construction, and Real Estate Bureau is a great opportunity for a professional who's looking to provide consumer protection and public safety for all Idahoans. This position will serve as a Board Support Specialist for the Building, Construction, and Real Estate Boards.

Example of Duties:

  • Perform various functions supporting regulatory Boards, including setting up Board meetings, generating and posting agendas, compiling and distributing agenda materials, and drafting and publishing meeting minutes

  • Tracking Board member terms and appointments

  • Developing and editing letters and other correspondence as directed

  • Making travel arrangements and processing vouchers

  • Communicating with Board members, licensees, the public and staff

Minimum Qualifications:

Good knowledge of:

  • Office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, and reception

  • Researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports

Experience:

  • Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies, or services

  • Independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting

  • Coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements

Minimum Qualifications Specialties:

Experience:

  • Composing official correspondence, reports, and other complex documents

  • Taking minutes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Using Microsoft Access

  • Some knowledge of state and local government organization structure
