Salary: $37,598 to $45,819 Annually Salary is based education and experience

Job Description: As a qualified mental health professional, to provide daytime (M-F 8-5) emergency services/response, information, referral services to persons, both adults and children, in Brazos County who may have mental/emotional difficulties or illnesses. This employee provides face-to-face crisis assessments in the office and at other sites in the community such as the local hospital ER /ICU/telemetry, detention centers, and jails.Provides telephone screening to gather information from the individual and the individuals family regarding current functioning. Conducts agency assessments related to uniform assessment process. Crisis on Call work required as agency need dictates. Education: Requires Bachelors Degree in a Behavioral, Social Sciences, Humanities or Education field. Experience: Previous minimum 3 years experienced as Service Coordinator/Case Manager/Case Worker providing services to persons with mental illness. Hours of Work: 8am5pm, MondayFriday; adjustment in hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program; scheduled after-hours with mental illness. Licensure/Certification: Ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.Valid Texas drivers license and are insurable by agency insurance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) certification as well as Illness, Management and Recovery certification. Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing; computer and word processing skills; must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
