Job Description: This position serves as Team Leader for County Adult behavioral health care team (Burleson, Robertson, Washington, Grimes, Madison, and Leon counties). Staff members will provide first line supervision to clinical, administrative, and peer support positions within the team. This position is responsible for management of daily operations of intake, crisis services, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, counseling, and peer support within the team, including delegating tasks to team members. Staff members will be responsible for ensuring clients are served efficiently, utilizing policies and procedures as written for the unit. The position provides diagnostic services and determines if individuals meet HHSC definition of priority population. The position thus serves as the front-door for deciding eligibility for ongoing MH services, determining level of need, and recommending necessary treatment modalities. Additionally, this position provides cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals meeting criteria for these services as needed. Education: Masters Degree and licensed as LPHA or LPC-Associate. Experience: Should have considerable experience, knowledge, and training in the area of assessment and crisis intervention and should have experience working with adults and/or children in crisis situations as well as experience with coordinating services with social services agencies. Hours of Work: Generally, MondayFriday 8am5pm, adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program. Serves as Supervisor on call for crisis supervision after hours, on a rotational basis. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license and must be insurable by Agencys insurance. Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating motor vehicle, operating office equipment, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to work closely well others.
