Job Description

The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship seeks a (senior) graphic designer. This position is responsible for the graphic design, project management and overall brand identity for The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship. This creative position takes print and digital projects from conception to completion, including working with various internal capabilities and vendors. Must be able to render publication-ready files for multiple platforms. Must be able to design for accessible and engaging web interaction. This position is responsible for directing and managing the visual identity of Center as it relates to all user interfaces, materials, and images used externally including print materials, electronic communications and web interfaces, our annual conference and other events while ensuring that BCCCC design falls within University design guidelines.

Implements the design and production process related to all print and digital publications; working cross-departmentally with other staff members. Works both collaboratively and independently from concept through development to prepare images and files for digital platforms as required. The successful candidate will function well in fast-paced and high-volume print/digital production environment. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is critical. Attention to detail, creativity, proactivity, planning and flexibility are essential abilities. This position requires attendance in the office. Flexible schedule is possible.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree; expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and ability to render EPS, PNG, JPG, GIF files in print-ready and digital publication formats. Training in HTML and CMS systems desirable.

Senior: Min 5 years’ experience in graphic design for large non-profit or professional services organization

Non-Senior: Min 1 years’ experience in graphic design for large non-profit or professional services organization

Training and experience in graphic design

Must be able to independently develop design templates and documents for both print and web using the Adobe Suite and other technology tools as required.

Senior- $61,640 - $77,050 (5+ years exp)

Non-Senior - $55,840 - $69,800 (1-5 years exp)
