A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Assist the apprentices and journeyman with the installation of:

``` - Ground grid and conduit.

• Installation of above ground conduit, grounding, buss work, equipment installation, etc.

• Building stands and setting equipment including tightening of anchor bolts.

• Steel assembly, including the torquing and marking of the hardware.

``` - Placing raceways inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pulling of insulated wires and cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

```{=html}

``` - Perform all manner of manual labor.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.

WHAT YOULL NEED

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience.

• Ability to successfully pass a preemployment physical, drug and alcohol screening.
