Job Responsibilities for Manual Machinist:

• Machine plates including aluminum, iron and steel.
• Machine pins to close tolerance.
• Drilling, tapping,and milling.
• Maintain a clean workspace.

Skills and Abilities Required for Manual Machinist:

• Work from provideddetailed manufacturingdrawings.
• Efficient in the useof manual machine shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, andverticalmilling machines.
• Use of measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators,and calipers.
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers.
• Dependable. On-time. Self-starter.

Experience Needed for Manual Machinist:

• 2-3 years minimum ofManualMachinistexperience with a strong manual lathe required!
• Need to be comfortable using all types of tools
• Need to have some forklift and/or overhead crane operating experience
• Experience using drill pressing, milling machines, and handheld measuring instruments
