Develop and execute supply base/commodity strategies
Analysis of data from a variety of internal and external sources to develop a point of view in making decisions to deliver the best value to Ford.
Manage complex sourcings with a mix of DT2 and Bailment strategies.
Lead and create strong relationship with cross functional teams at all levels to deliver common objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Risk Mitigation)

Lead negotiations to ensure best cost at sourcing as well as long term price sustainability
Deliver strong data analysis that lead to in-depth commodity understanding, positive business decisions and robust tracking of price changes through life of the program/project
Lead Sourcing completion on timefor all major future models collaborating with the Program and Category Teams and in line to a signed off plan for each Program
Deliver Program Material Cost Target for all major future models driving the Program and Category Teams to manage closure of competitive gaps to support successful milestones approval for each Program
Supplier risk management and day-to-day execution to deliver sourced projects implementation on time and leveraging Supply Chain position to protect program’s milestones
High-exposure to management and Executive Leadership to drive internal decision making for resolution of Quality-Cost-Delivery issues.
Deliver Supplier Warranty / FSA Recoveriesto aligned forecast
Reduce Supplier caused Lost Unitsand Service order fulfillmentby year-end through proactive risk management actions and support of Critical Supply Team / Supplier Technical Assistance
Negotiate Year Over Year cost efficiencies and reductions.
Utilize Supply Risk Management tools to intervene proactively avoiding potential supply disruption
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business Administration). Technical or Engineering degree, desirable.
2+ years Supply Chain experience required.
Strong planning, organization skills and agile execution
High business acumen with solid understanding of Global Purchasing processes (i.e. Resourcing, DT2 processes)
Exceptional data analytics skills - ability to mine data to support decision making.
Strategic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture and come up with a recommendation/point of view.
Strong leadership and networking skills
Advanced English language skills. Strong written and verbal communication.
