PROJECT COORDINATOR

Travel Requirement: Minimal – 5%

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Infrastructure Projects group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and coordination, with a focus on ensuring timely execution and efficient resource allocation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects and make a significant impact in the company’s growth.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

  • SAFETY: Responsible, professional, and accountable for conducting job tasks in a safe and healthy manner which includes performing in accordance with Health Safety Security & Environmental (HSSE) philosophy, standards, programs, rules and permits.

  • Work responsibly and take any necessary precautions to protect self and others from injury and health hazards.

  • Coordinate project activities to help ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and clients.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Track project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.

  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on status, issues, and next steps.

  • Support project managers in resource planning, procurement, and contract management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Assists procurement as needed, with technical expertise for material/equipment specifications. Support cost reduction/efficiency mandates.

  • Assists with compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices, as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).

  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands and Exposures
