A little about the position:

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, our full-time Yard Hand position supports the service team. Please see duties below.

Information about the location youll be working at:

Here in Wasilla, our shop was recently rebuilt! With spacious bays, great lighting, and up-to-date technology, you will be able to have all you need in your workspace. This location is conveniently located right by the highway with easy access.

Some of the duties of this position:

  • Greet and interact with customers.
  • Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to equipment.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and shipments
  • Moving equipment/materials in and out of shop
  • Keeping yard, shop, and parts inventory clean and organized
  • Completing local parts runs and deliveries
  • Assisting with rental equipment
  • Pressure washing
  • General maintenance activities including snow removal, sanding and cleaning as needed
  • Trailer and truck washes
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills for success:

High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Have great communication and time management skills.

Our job requirements:

Able to work 40+ hrs per week.

Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

A little about the physical requirements:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Team members must be able to lift at least 40 pounds on a regular basis and be able to stand for long periods of time. Bending, lifting, and pushing will also be required.
